This ministry gives women in our church and community an opportunity to connect with each other through different kinds of social events.
Bible Study: Thursday Mornings
Join us Thursday mornings starting January 15 from 10:00 am - noon for a 10 week study on 2 Corinthians using Kelly Minter's All Things New Bible Study. In Kelly's words, "We will be exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come."
The study book can be purchased on Amazon or Lifeway. Lifeway offers streaming access to the videos with the purchase of the book, but Amazon does not.
Bible Study: Thursday Evenings
If you've ever felt distant from God, know that you're not the only one. Our Women's Ministry is starting a study through Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God Speaks by Priscilla Shirer. We believe this resource will help us better understand God's will, heart, and voice as revealed to us in Scripture. We will meet for this study in Karen Rutherford's home on Thursdays from 6-8 pm, starting March 5 and ending April 16. The address will be provided before meeting.
Book Club
Our Women's Ministry book club meets monthly to discuss faith-inspired novels. See below for upcoming books and meeting dates:
March 9 at 6:30 pm: The Divine Proverbs of Streusel by Sara Brunsvold
April 13 at 6:30 pm: A Million Little Choices by Tamara Alexander
May 11 at 6:30 pm: The White Stone by Scott Meinke
