Church Covenant

Having been brought by divine grace to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we now solemnly and joyfully renew our covenant with each other.

We will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor neglect to pray for ourselves and one another. We will walk together in brotherly love, rejoicing in each other’s happiness and bearing each other’s burdens and sorrows.

We will study and submit to God’s word. We will seek, by Divine aid, to live carefully in this world, to be just in our dealings and exemplary in our conduct—denying ungodliness and worldly lusts.

We will faithfully and tenderly admonish one another as the case shall require.

We will—by a humble, pure, and loving example—boldly seek the salvation of our family and friends, our community, and the nations.

We will work together for the continuance of a faithful evangelical ministry in this church, as we support its ministries, leaders, discipline, and doctrines. We will contribute cheerfully and regularly to the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
