"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." ~ 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
We believe men struggle to pursue biblical manhood by falling into two extremes: we can be authoritarian—using our strength and positions to domineer over others. Or we can be overly passive—abdicating responsibility to lead in the home and the church, and the result contributes to the wide-spread feminization of men in our society. This is why we have a men’s ministry. Biblical manhood is both taught and caught.
Our men get together once a quarter, typically on a Saturday.
We normally do outdoor activities like kayaking or Top Golf. We have also eaten our hearts out at a Cuban pig roast, but the manliest thing we do each time is have a member share how Jesus has impacted his life.
